I was just browsing through your topic forums about how sum of you would love to build in or live in a castle? Well here in new zealand an old couple built this castle on top off a hill. It has a draw bridge, towers and even battlements. Its build on top off a big hill, and is quite distracting. Its built near the site of hobbiton, where the lord of the rings was filmed, outside of a town called putauru. I drive past it on my way back to my home town of waihi. Ill try find out more and keep you guys posted. ps: If you want to build a castle newzealands landscape is perfect for that fantastical element
bent one New Zealand is a beautiful country and is perfect for building castles because there is plenty of stone there.
I believe that the battle of helms deep in the two towers was even shot in a quarry.
